Architekt II - 7 speedmaps full of tricks and traps ! (cl2 - limit-removing) (2025)

Another really cool one after architekt the first !

Map 01 (slayer) : the feeling is close to slayer's map on first architekt, still very cool, still on the boundary of the project theme, but then you understand (by brutal means !) why it's on the theme in the end ! Anyway, a cool starter !

Map 02 (nixx) : so it soon starts to be harder, not impossible at all, but harder ! The name of the map fits its fights, the big one being at the same time on the part 2 theme but also on the part 1's one. It took me quite some time to accept there was blocking little walls on the sides of the big fight so i ended blocked there quite a few, but the fight is beatable, though frantic, as this whole very nice map !

Map 03 (anima) : it starts gently, with mostly one trap on the first part of the map, but the big trappy room felts much harder ! This fight is cool and can be brutal, I liked it !

Map 04 (RedBoule) : My first "Junkfood style" map, but I guess easier than the ones of the latter. On the theme from beginning to end, it's a great spectacle of BFGspam, more oriented on endurance (though the map is not long) than on precision. In Architekt 1, RedBoule's map felt one of the hardest (if not the hardest), this one is much easier and very cool to play ! I guess I won't try the hundreds maps there is on the junkfood serie but this one, alone of its kind in the set, is very welcome !

Map 05 (Cydeen) : Architekture and texturing is a bit rough but still very pleasant to navigate, first trap with chaingunners/revenants on one side and barons on the others is cool, especially when you like playing with infight, the big exterior fight, though, is much more chaotic and hard (still very nice), you've got to know where to find weapon, ammos and health. Hard as a boarding school's supervisor baton.

Map 06 (Oxyde) : Another one where you've got to know where to find your weapons ! Once done, you still got to make your way in a container maze full of mean monsters where you sometimes think openings are large enough for you but ended not. It's just one area of this great map, the two others offer nice fights and traps (the one with the disappearing platforms is cool !). Great map !

Map 07 (Roofi) : This one is not full of traps, it's thought as trap as a whole. The huge killcount for such a small map can be frightening but most of it appear in one fight that is not that difficult (but you still got to count your cells (especially if you didn't yet found the backpack)). This is the most varied map regarding fights, movements, height variation, disorientation, jumpscare or predictable trap that still end annoying you. My favorite with the Oxyde's one !

Overall, great job once again !
